Job Description

You will work with a well respected Director who has worked in the Magic Circle and in some of the worlds leading global brands.

You will either join as a specialist Data Protection lawyer and work on exciting Data Protection Projects at the firm's London offices.

Alternatively, our client is looking for a lawyer that will spend part of their time on Data Protection but also work on a range of Intellectual Property work. There is a chance to work with the firm's specialist IP and Brand Consultancy department.

The Successful Applicant

Our client is looking for a lawyer with experience of Data Protection or Data Protection and another areas such as Intellectual Property or IT to work in their London offices.

They are looking for a UK-qualified lawyer with 2 to 4 year's PQE experience, some of which should have been gained in the UK at a reputable firm. Specifically, they are looking for a candidate to demonstrate the following:

  • A background as a Technology lawyer with specialism in IT law and data protection.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating IT contracts (eg outsourcing projects) and ideally experience on web compliance issues.
  • Experience in: IT, data protection, cyber security, IT outsourcing
  • An ability to get up to speed quickly on esoteric areas and be keen to continue developing legal skills and engage in new areas of work
