About Our Client

A commercial vehicle dealership providing a full service from sales through to rental, service and lease of commercial equipment. Operating from multiple sites in the East Midlands / East Anglia region they are well funded and have an established platform for growth.

Job Description

As Dealership Director you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing a good working relationship with the major supplier along with current and potential customers
  • Identifying and executing revenue growth opportunities such as: finance, aftermarket and service
  • The delivery of the highest levels of customer and employee satisfaction
  • Establishing firm relationships with potential customers
  • Retain and where appropriate build a reliable management team to support any future business expansion program.
  • Managing business performance against budget through strong financial and operational management of the P&L

The Successful Applicant

We are seeking to attract an individual who has experience of running a B2B dealership. Financially competent and a strong leader of people who has led a complex organisation involved in the sale or lease of commercial vehicles or equipment. Key attributes will include:

  • Strong experience of managing a P&L
  • Evidence of growing the profitability through sales and operational improvements
  • Experience of developing long-term relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Experience of developing teams to be empowered and able to make sound commercial decisions
