Job Description

  • Review offering documentation and transaction documents in relation bond, medium term notes and commercial paper issuance including prospectus or listing particulars, listing applications, invitation letters, clearing agreements, subscription agreements, dealer agreements, trust deeds, legal opinions, comfort letters, term sheets and note terms and conditions.





  • Attend drafting meetings and due diligence conference calls.



  • Maintain working relationship with the debt capital market team.



  • Provide legal advice and assistance in relation to debt securities.



  • Instruct and liaise with external law firms as and when required.



  • Undertake legal research and interpret new/updated legislation on an ongoing basis and cascade to business units and/or support departments as required.



  • Ensure matters that require escalation are notified to the Head of Legal and Compliance in a timely and effective manner to enable support to be provided.





Perform any other legal duties as and when required.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be a Mid level qualified lawyer with experience in Debt Capital Markets. They will ideally come from a small-medium sized financial services organization and be prepared to tackle an array of legal matters.
