Job Description

To sell, through technical specification and added value a range of Electro-mechanical connectors. Sales are made to personnel from process and production engineers, design and development engineers, purchasing professionals, up to senior management levels.

The successful candidate will work directly with the key specifiers and but will primarily be responsible for the motivation, guidance and support of a team of geographically based Sales Engineers who spend a portion of their time in the Defence and Aerospace sector. It is likely that the position will based from our new facility in in the Midlands.

None of the solutions are sold on price. The Industry Sector is well established and has shown consistent growth; however there is still significant room for development.

This individual will also be part of an International team of Aerospace and Defence Market Specialists.

The Successful Applicant

Candidates will have an HNC Minimum qualification within a mechanical engineering discipline with a minimum of 3-5 years external sales experience. The candidate will be selling direct into an engineering/manufacturing environment. The candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of selling solutions to the End User and OEM sectors.

We are interested in individuals who sell on added value, who are able to identify customer problems and be able to solve them with standard or specially designed solutions, not those who sell on price.

Candidate will also be able to demonstrate the ability to both account manage and develop new customers.

What's on Offer

Starting Package: Basic £45,000 -£54,500 (starting salary is likely to be £47,000 or £50, 200) Sales Commission: £5,000 O.T. rising to a maximum of £15,000. Mercedes C Class or CLA class, Contributory personal pension scheme, Health cover, Mobile, Laptop. 25 days Holiday (rising to max. of 30days with service) plus stats.
