A FMCG manufacturer of widely recognized household consumer-goods.

Job Description

The role of the Demand Planner will consist of:

* Participate in improvement activities at department/company level to enhance business performance.
* Work in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams to create an accurate statistical forecast.
* Attend regular S&OP meetings with the key stakeholders.
* Run all relevant reports monitoring exception message trends, identifying recurrence and make recommendations for improvement to ensure ordering recommendations are reviewed and acted upon.
* Take part in root cause analysis activities, budget variance analysis and contribute to the development of demand planning processes to ensure team is always driving towards improvements.
* Undertake other duties and tasks that may be allocated that are appropriate to the job.

The Successful Applicant

Ideally, the candidate will have the following criteria:

  • forecasting for production,
  • MRP processing and inventory management across the business.
  • responsible for providing precise reporting and analysis to review and improve the forecast to feedback back accurately to customers.
  • proven track record of delivering accurate forecasting information and driving business performance in line with company goals.
  • preferably come from a fast-paced manufacturing environment (FMCG / food / drink / pharmaceuticals) and will have strong working knowledge of MS Excel and MRP systems. T
  • his position will also require you to have strong analytical and mathematic ability.
