Job Description

Reporting and Analysis

Use both analytics and survey data as well as market research to support the Ad Sales teams in winning and retaining advertisers on brands digital platforms worldwide. Provide regular analytics reporting and ad hoc data analysis to support Editorial and Product in monitoring digital content performance across all digital platforms. Advise and support strategic planning on day to day management of a wide range of business analysis and operational management requests. Work closely with digital revenue analyst to create consolidated reporting and performance metrics.

Oversight of websites

Identifies commercial implications and ensures site taxonomy and tagging reflects business needs and latest technology as well as tracks online campaigns.

Produce ad-hoc management reports
Work closely with ad sales and international research teams in international research projects, identifying areas of improvement for research output and information needs. Work on every stage of the research process from project inception through to the analysis and presentation of digital research data to internal and external clients. Play proactive role within the London based digital analytics team and liaise with international research departments to disseminate and educate internal and external clients on the audience

While the position has no direct revenue accountability, it does interface directly with over 20 sales offices worldwide, approx. In addition, the position is integral to supporting the commercials advertising sales function across 8+ websites.

Research / Analytical mind set Direct Sales experience

Relevant, at 3+ years' experience preferably at media agency and/or media owner Interest in news, current affairs and strong international outlook

Able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines Practice of international media research an advantage
Knowledge of data analysis software (e.g. IMS) and familiar with key TV and online consumer research and audience measurement sources

Good understanding of research concepts and survey methodologies

Excellent computer (Excel / Access/ PowerPoint) skills

Graduate, preferably in Marketing, Business or Data Science related subject

Excellent Excel and Access skills, Knowledge of online research tools Adobe (Omniture) Reports, Analytics & Report Builder, Comscore, Sysomos, MOAT, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube Insights
