About Our Client

The business are a well established financial services brand who specialise in providing financial products that cover a range of needs - from insurance policies to savings accounts. They are looking for a Digital Channel Executive to join the business based in the city of London.

Job Description

Digital Channel Executive responsibilities:

This role will be taking responsibility for driving digital initiatives in order to increase trading targets and improve the customer experience. The individual will be tasked with owning digital initiatives across a number of product areas and will be responsible for managing site content and SEO practice in order to optimise the website for the user. This role will play a crucial part in driving sales and income and ultimately shaping the future digital proposition of the business.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Customer focus

  • Curation of new content to the website in order to drive customer engagement with the brand and its products

  • Work with key stakeholders across the business in order to identify new areas for content

  • Making sure the deliverables are in line with UX principles and standards and working with testing teams to ensure deliverables are tested across all devices

  • Ensuring all deliverables meet the financial promotions requirements

  • Making sure the website meets SEO best practice according to technical and content standards to drive ranking positions

  • Assist in pre-production validation and post production testing


  • Review traffic/sales performance indicators to best optimise customer experiences

  • Make ongoing adjustments through test cases and observation to improve page performance.

  • Monitor sales KPI's through various reporting platforms

Operating model

  • Work with various departments to identify business and customer challenges and resolve these by creating and implementing engaging digital content

  • Attendance and input into Product trading forums/Marketing VTs

  • Utilise existing platform capabilities including the content management system, to create highly optimised digital experiences

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong Customer focus

  • Strong Digital experience, either in digital marketing, content production/publishing and/or ecommerce

  • Good SEO experience and technical best practice

  • Understanding or experience with content management systems

  • Financial Services experience preferable

  • The ability to work and deliver through cross-functional teams

  • Eye for detail; creative and commercial

  • Strong process management

  • Strong organizational and influencing skills

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
