This is a fantastic opportunity for a bubbly and vibrant individual to be a Digital Marketing Executive as part of the wider Marketing team.

Job Description

  • This position includes working on PPC campaigns, SEO, Display, Affiliates and Content distribution.
  • Working with and challenging the SEM agency and search engine partners with a focus on new customer acquisition.
  • Working with online PPC affiliates to ensure activity is consistent and focused on the business needs.
  • Work with the affiliate network partner to build effective affiliate relationships focused on new customer acquisition and shaping trade to key times of the year.
  • Manage the end-to-end process for display creative.
  • Work with the media agency on the content distribution plan and ensure the activity is tracked and reported on post campaign.
  • Proactively using Google Analytics to bring marketing and audience insight to develop future test initiatives and performance improvements.
  • Working as part of the overall Sales and Marketing team promoting synergy, taking the time to understand other channels and seek opportunities to add value to other activity or wider campaigns contributing to one overall Marketing plan.
  • Manage purchase order and invoicing process ensuring that expenditure is kept in line with the set budgets and reconciled. Keeping the budget sheet up to date and understand the numbers.
  • Also validating affiliate bookings ensuring commission is paid correctly.
  • Understanding the customer for holidays and touring to ensure they are at the heart of the marketing campaigns, keeping close to competitor activity and industry insights ensuring the best click-through and best ROI.
  • Develop and own personal learning plan. Ensuring it is up to date, feedback is sought and progression tracked.

Qualifications/ Expertise:

  • First hand knowledge of digital marketing and a track record of success
  • Previously worked with search engine marketing and the ability to demonstrate best practice and how to achieve results.
  • Fully comprehensive and up to date knowledge of the Digital marketplace with a broad knowledge of all digital disciplines.
  • Previously worked with agencies and other suppliers to form effective partnerships.
  • Proven understanding and effective management of Programmatic Display
  • Good understanding, interpretation and usage of Google Analytics and/or other web analytics to support driving marketing efficiency and customer insight
  • Previously managed marketing budgets
  • Travel leisure background is ideal but not a necessity.
  • Marketing related qualification is ideal but not necessary.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills are essential
  • Full driving licence
