About Our Client

Our client is a very well known retailer, with over 200 stores nationally. They have been operating in their market for many years and have an excellent reputation. They are now looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Executive to join their team.

Job Description

The Hertfordshire based Digital Marketing Executive will have a hands on approach and be responsible for the e-commerce budget. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for maximising ecommerce revenue, conversion rate and average transaction value, through proactive media management.
  • Use attribution modelling to understand the role different media play in the marketing mix and to make better decisions about investment.
  • Understand the online to offline marketing relationship and use learning's to aid investment decisions.
  • Responsible for consistent reviewing relevant findings from research, customer trends and competitor activity and planning back into marketing plans.
  • Managing agency tasks and priorities, to ensure optimisation, continual improvement, and performance to targets
  • Increasing efficiency of PPC activity, ensuring performance to category - level profitability targets
  • Understanding and increasing incremental affiliate activity, including incentive sites
  • Launching and optimising a programmatic performance display campaign in conjunction with our media agency
  • Recommending and influencing brand and local campaigns to ensure cross-channel campaigns comply with digital best practise
  • Being adaptable and open to new ideas, confident in own ability to resolve issues and influence others.

The Successful Applicant

The suitable candidate will ideally have previous track record of digital marketing best practise and digital execution. Knowledge of managing PPC would be preferred, but is not essential.

What's on Offer

The Digital Marketing Executive can expect a basic salary of between £23-£28K. Other benefits include: bonus, pension, in-store discount and 25 days holiday.
