About Our Client

I am working for an international Law firm who are a member of the Magic Circle elite law firms in London. They are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive with experience in legal or professional services to join their digital marketing team.

Job Description

Responsibilities for Digital Marketing Executive:

  • Preparing, uploading and publishing new content using our Umbraco content management system.
  • Coordinating the website update schedule including liaising with senior partners, lawyers and other staff throughout the firm to obtain and approve updates.
  • Coordinating publications for inclusion on the website including handling requests from users (including some clients) to receive copies of the firm's restricted access publications.
  • Working with PSLs, Knowledge and Information and content authors on process improvements for the distribution of content online.
  • Producing and maintaining "How to/best practice guidelines" and business continuity documentation.
  • Working directly with the Head of Digital on major development and transformational projects but also working autonomously and flexibly on small to mid-sized projects.
  • Researching new online opportunities that may benefit the firm including website best practices, competitor analysis, social media, mobile apps, etc.
  • Web statistics reporting.
  • Liaising with external agencies on BAU support and project work.
  • Help promote internally the work of the digital team and the benefits of digital for the firm.
  • Social media monitoring.

The Successful Applicant

  • Understanding and desire to build on existing knowledge and skill sets within Digital marketing (either through internal courses or personal research).
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly.
  • Strong verbal communication skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, a confidence to develop strong working relationships (including with senior members of staff and partners) and to upwardly manage.
  • Proven organisation skills, including the ability to prioritise own workload and handle several projects at one time.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables within a tight time frame and deliver high quality work with limited supervision.
  • Pro-active approach to defining needs and delivering solutions.
  • Team player, reliable, helpful and willing to meet the demands of the role through extended hours when required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic HTML knowledge.
