Job Description

  • Drive lead generation and customer acquisition via online channels (SEO; email marketing; PPC; content marketing; social media etc).
  • Develop CRM and email marketing programmes to support the customer journey for existing customers. Improve conversion, retention and cross-sell rates and demonstrate ROI.
  • Set campaign objectives and test criteria; monitor, measure and report on performance; propose and implement improvements to increase ROI.
  • Copywriting across all channels including web, email marketing and off-line.
  • Maintain and update the website including optimisation of web pages and landing pages.
  • Input into desktop and mobile site design to improve customer experience and conversion.
  • Social media planning and management including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, and engaging with relevant bloggers/ thought leaders.
  • Select and manage external agencies as required
  • Consistently demonstrate a sound understanding of how the principles impact their role, and within the wider Group context including constantly reviewing or raising opportunities to enhance or improve the company's policies and service

  • Analytical, able to translate insight into actionable plans.
  • Budgeting and financial planning.

Technical/Specific experience:

  • Proven track record in similar role and can demonstrate successful campaign management-development, performance and ROI.
  • Previous responsibility managing/improving organic traffic through SEO.
  • Experience of using Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Strong copywriting for web and email (quality & quantity).
  • Confident and competent planning and engaging in social media.
  • Experience of working in financial services and/or insurance.

Professional Qualifications and Associations:

  • Degree educated or strong academic background plus relevant experience.
  • At least 2-3 years working in digital marketing.
  • CIM/ IDM Marketing/ Digital marketing qualification.
