About Our Client

The business provide a Financial Services consultancy service and an alternative to insurance for businesses in today's world. They provide an outsourced consultancy for businesses looking to take control and have ownership of their insurance protection. They are now looking for an expert Digital Marketing Manager to come on board and take on the ownership of various channels including PPC, email and social media. This role will sit within their London team.

Job Description

Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager

Website Management

  • Optimisation and development of a new website.

  • Manage website content using a CMS, develop creative content for use on website and other channels.

  • Knowledge and experience of SEO best practice to optimise website structure, setup and page content.

  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS for webpage setup and management.

  • Use of Google Analytics to analyse website traffic and customer journey/purchase funnel, optimising customer journey where possible.

  • Preparation of online sales reports to track traffic and product sale sources, return on investment and other

Paid Search

  • Familiarity and confidence using Google AdWords to research, setup, implement, analyse and optimise search campaigns to increase website traffic and product sales.

Email Marketing

  • Management of email marketing platform and email marketing newsletters and targeted campaigns.

  • Distribution of regular emails to customer and prospect lists, analysing and optimising open and click through rates to deliver optimum return on investment.

Social Media

  • Implementing social media strategies for existing (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and LinkedIn, etc) and other relevant channels.

  • Use of organic and paid, targeted content to generate sales and engage with existing and future customers and fans.

  • Ownership and management of a content calendar for social media and other channels.


  • Development of a content calendar and content marketing plan to increase awareness and engagement of the signs brand story and products.

  • A grasp of how online content can have SEO benefits from a link and authority perspective.

  • Collaboration with designers to generate creative and content for all digital channels.

The Successful Applicant


  • Demonstrable digital marketing knowledge with experience of SEO, social media, email marketing and paid search, display and remarketing using Google Adwords, Google Tag Manager.


  • A results driven creative thinker who loves creating successful digital marketing campaigns and can identify new opportunities for online growth.

  • An eye for design and detail and ability to think creatively.

  • Very competent using Excel to manage and manipulate data.

  • Impeccable attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.


  • Recent and/or relevant experience of working in a digital marketing role.

  • Fully conversant with WordPress and other platforms.

  • Confident using web analytics solutions such as Google Analytics to analyse customer acquisition, journey and purchase funnel.

  • HTML/CSS experience for email template, webpage design and optimisation.

  • Google certification in AdWords and/or Analytics


  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
