About Our Client

The client are an asset manager who invest for clients across the fixed income spectrum on a global scale. In their Digital team in London, they are looking for a Digital Marketing Production Executive to join the business.

Job Description

Roles of the Digital Marketing Production Executive include but are not limited to:

  • Significant involvement in the design, definition and implementation of automation projects covering both regular and ad hoc communications
  • To work closely with colleagues in digital and beyond to define, build and deploy a market leading customer experience programme and to make continuous improvements based on data and analytics
  • Oversee the design and build of relevant solutions enabling personalisation of content across web, email and beyond
  • To assist in the delivery of BlueBay's web assets and, in time, to take ownership of any required development work
  • To assist with the management, segmentation and analysis of data in line with client targeting requirements
  • To be involved in the profiling of both website users and email recipients, and in the subsequent development of user insights
  • To work with colleagues from across the business - including the investment team, marketing, sales, CRM, product development, HR, legal and compliance - to develop and improve services and processes
  • To use technical expertise to suggest new systems and processes which improve operational efficiencies and to subsequently oversee their deployment
  • Potential for involvement in the development of the company's intranet platform, currently based on Sharepoint
  • To provide support and guidance on related subjects to colleagues - including senior management, junior staff and interns
  • Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of the company's, it's products and processes
  • To build and maintain a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and to ensure that all digital properties adhere to these principles

The Successful Applicant

Technical experience:

  • Experienced in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript - including libraries such as jquery, bootstrap and masonry
  • Experience of using EPiServer or other .net CMS platforms preferred
  • Good understanding of web architecture - including taxonomies and folder structures - valuable
  • Proficient in the use of mainstream CX platforms - ideally, salesforce Marketing Cloud (previously ExactTarget)
  • Familiarity with AMPscript - salesforce's proprietary scripting language - preferred
  • Experience in troubleshooting across both web and email, with an ability to understand and implement solutions
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms - ideally salesforce - and proven segmentation and data interpretation experience preferred
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery, covering design, build, test and improvement
  • Able to make quick decisions and provide technical solutions to improve operational efficiencies
  • Personal interest in technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, database concepts and design techniques
  • Experience in Sharepoint development valuable but not a requirement
  • Digital Marketing experience:
  • Experience in designing, creating, implementing, managing and testing sector-leading customer journeys
  • Proficient in marketing automation and programmes across both web and email
  • Experience in UX, in particular, in designing user interfaces with focus on clean, simple usability across web and email
  • Experience using data to build cross-selling/retention programmes which engage and deepen relationships with clients and prospects
  • Experience in web and email analytics tools
