Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Director of Investigations/Case Management for a major public sector body. You will:

  • deliver robust, high quality enforcement interventions for the organisation including investigations, decision-making and settlement negotiations in respect of issues which have reached the appropriate risk appetite threshold and which cannot be resolved through education or enablement

  • make decisions to exercise or not exercise our powers and escalate/delegate such decisions as appropriate

  • provide high quality briefings and advice to others and explain and justify decisions and actions to internal and external stakeholders

  • own the organisation's approach to case management including improvement and redesign as necessary and maintenance of appropriate documentation.

  • monitor and manage the Case Management division's budget and operational plan, the production of appropriate MI and other means of tracking progress of cases and performance against KPIs

The Successful Applicant

You will have

  • 10 years direct experience as a decision taker in a casework environment

  • You will be working in a financial services firm, regulator, or major government department.

  • Strong communication skills both written and oral and presenting to all levels including the Board

  • Robust decision making on matters with wide ranging external impact

  • Team management
