About Our Client
Client is a leading Higher Education organsiation based within London.
As Director of Marketing & Communications you will lead on and manage the universities Internal and External Relations unit. This will involve developing, implementing and managing a strategic and integrated marketing direction for the College, bringing together and expanding upon current marketing and communications services; leading and directing a co-ordinated team dealing with activities ranging from reputation management, student engagement and recruitment, internal and external communications, media and corporate relations, event and exhibition management, the College's web environment, student employability and graduate recruitment, and the development of beneficial links for the College (sponsorship/ fundraising).
The Successful Applicant
Considerable leadership and management experience at a senior level, including the effective management of resources and budgetary responsibility
Experience of managing change within an organisation
Experience of managing stakeholders at a senior level
Demonstrable experience of developing and sharing best practice within and outside the organisation
Experiencing of developing and managing high performing staff and teams, including cross-disciplinary teams
Experience of the successful management and delivery of transformational change, preferably within a Higher Education environment and including project and process management capabilities
Experience of strategic and operational planning and risk management.
Demonstrable knowledge of the dynamics of academic endeavour, scholarly activity and the HE sector
Experience of managing communications across a complex organisation
Experience in management of service provision including SLA's and OLA's
What's on Offer
£65,000 - £75,000 per annum, 6 month fixed term contract at first instance.
