You will be working for a well-known NHS Trust based in the London area working to deliver a world class care and customer service in line with the values of the Trust.

Job Description

The Directorate Accountant is a pivotal role working closely with the clinical areas of the business. Reporting directly in to the Head of Finance, you will business partner with key internal stakeholders to improve the accurate and efficient recording of management reports, budgets and forecasts. Day to day duties of the role include (though are not limited to) the following:

Preparation of management reports for specific directorates
Production and presentation of quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts
Liaising with key internal senior management team stakeholders to deliver accurate and efficient budgets and forecasts
Providing sound financial advice to non-finance stakeholders in relation to their budget usage
Acting as the lead finance representative for your specific directorates

The Successful Applicant

You will be CCAB qualified accountant with previous experience of working for or with NHS Trusts.
You will have experience in dealing with non-finance stakeholders to prepare budgets and provide sound financial advice.

The Directorate Accountant role is a band 8A position (£40,028 - £48,034), salary level will depend on a suitable candidate's experience.
