Job Description

This role is key to the onward success of their Midlands Business driving forward the current team. You will be managing a varied property estate of c300 properties.

The main focus of the role will be to devise and deliver a successful investment and maintenance programmes in partnership with the operational senior management, alongside:

Responsibility for a capex budgets and repair budgets.

Proactive management of the repairs and development of a maintenance strategy across the portfolio.

Developing the current team through effective management.

Strategic management of designers and contractors to deliver projects, new concepts and design roll out.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a client side property role in a highly consumer facing industry, such as Retail or Food and Beverages. You will have experience of delivering property investment and repair strategy and a background in project delivery. We are ideally looking for the following as a minimum:

  • Technical experience in a multi retail site property role as building surveyor or project manager
  • Up to date knowledge of statutory compliance legislation
  • Experience of budgetary & financial cost control
  • HNC in either Building Surveying or Building Construction, or professional qualification such as RICS or CIOB

What's on Offer

My Client are offering a salary of between £50,000 and £60,000 plus an achievable bonus, company car, industry leading pension package and private medical insurance.
