About Our Client

Enterprise Inns have a portfolio of over 5,000 pubs. They are currently 6 months into an exciting 5 year plan to evolve their business and embrace the changing needs of the industry and legislation. Enterprise Inns will continue to invest in developing their Leased & Tenanted (L&T) estate whilst also developing a new three tier managed portfolio. In addition to this they will also be expanding their commercial leased estate to be able to offer Landlords a wider range of 'free of tie' options.

These exciting changes will ensure that Enterprise Inns can offer a business model to suit each outlet or Licensee, therefore delivering the best pub for each local community. These new business models will form part of the exciting journey for Enterprise Inns. By 2020 they will be running 750-850 Managed Pubs alongside and a further 1000 "Free of Tie" leases and a market leading L&T portfolio comprising of approximately 2500 pubs.

Job Description

This role is key to the onward success of the Enterprise Inns South Midlands business, driving forward the current team. It will take the lead across the management of a varied portfolio of c.300 pubs.

The main focus of the role will be to devise and deliver successful investment and maintenance programmes in partnership with the operational senior management. The divisional Property Manager will also:

Take responsibility for capex budgets and repair budgets.

Proactively manage the repairs and develop a maintenance strategy across the portfolio.

Hold responsibility for statutory compliance across the portfolio

Develop the current team through effective management.

Strategically manage the designers and contractors to deliver projects, new concepts and design roll out.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a client side property role in a highly consumer facing industry, such as Retail or Leisure. You will have a proven track record of delivering capex and maintenance property investment, management of dilapidations and development of maintenance strategies to protect a wide ranging property portfolio. We are ideally looking for the following as a minimum:

  • Technical experience in a multi-site property role as Building Surveyor, Estate Manager or Project Manager.
  • Experience of budgetary & financial cost control.
  • Up to date knowledge of statutory compliance legislation.
  • Innovative.
  • Results Focused.
  • Energetic.
  • Ideally RICS or CIOB Building Surveyor / Estate Manager Qualifications.

What's on Offer

Our Client is offering a salary of between £50,000 and £60,000 plus an achievable bonus, company car, industry leading pension package and private medical insurance.
