Job Description

They are looking to grow their organisation by hiring a qualified and established Sales Leader to provide strong leadership across the large Southern area.

As an Divisional Sales Director, you will have sole responsibility for developing and driving ambitious growth plans across your area. This opportunity is about ensuring strong and sustainable relationships, optimising efficiencies and developing a high level of service.

This is a second line leader role, managing a team of capable sales individuals along with strategic accountability of the regional field manager and their team.

The Successful Applicant

Critical to the success of this Divisional Sales Director will be previous experience within a regional area, with a results driven track record of delivery in distribution, sales and retail activities, whilst able to create sustainable relationships with key stakeholders.

The successful candidate must have demonstrable track record of success, will have strong negotiation skills, and a customer focused approach with in depth knowledge of technical specification led sales within the social housing market. They will have strong commercial acumen, and will have had Profit and Loss accountabilities, with the ability to optimise costs and develop revenue streams.

  • A truly innovative and inspirational leader of people and teams
  • Develop strong levels of trust within the business and with social housing channels
  • Have a good knowledge of the HVAC industry
  • Have a strong contact base in the South within Social Housing
  • Focused on people development, adding value and consistently high service levels
  • Adept at managing complex negotiations associated with multi-channel & multi-site
  • Adept at influencing internal and external decision makers at all levels, including Board
  • Using innovative techniques to take new ideas to market
