Job Description

- Responsible for leading and coordinating the DLO operatives including maintenance inspectors and direct operatives within the service team

- Co-Ordination of external contractors and suppliers

- Ensure performance and budgetary targets are met

- To supervise the delivery of a professional, cost effective and efficient, customer focused repairs and maintenance and facility management service, including overall supervision for:

  • Responsive repairs service including the DLO Home Maintenance Team and contractors.
  • Facility management including DLO trade colleague teams and contractors
  • Gas repairs and servicing
  • Cyclical pre paint repairs and painting
  • Grounds Maintenance services
  • Landlord health & safety responsibilities
  • Out of hours emergency service

- Manage staff performance

- Monitor and Control work flow

The Successful Applicant

Only candidates with proven track record in Social Housing will be considered for this role.

Must have demonstrated successful supervision, management and delivery of responsive repair and DLO teams previously as well as a strong commercial awareness.
