About Our Client

Our client is a nationally recognised retailer within the Australian fashion accessory scene. The business has had a great history of success within their sector, providing high quality products to a range of demographics. The opportunity has arisen for an E-Commerce Manager to join the team and bring their extensive experience in online digital marketing to the table.

Job Description

The key accountabilites of this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing the strategy for our online business including driving traffic, improving conversion rates, increasing sales and enhancing customer experience.
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to outline a calendar of marketing campaigns and promotional events to drive sales online and in our retail stores.
  • Managing the daily operations and future growth of multiple ecommerce channels, including SEO, content development, merchandising, fulfilment and customer service.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver rich creative content and optimize user experience.
  • Leveraging off our CRM Loyalty database, identify target audiences and devise digital campaigns to drive customer engagement.
  • Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against KPI and ROI goals.
  • Identifying and executing strategies to grow site traffic via SEO, PPC, affiliate partnerships and other marketing opportunities.
  • Identifying and evaluating emerging technologies. Recommend adoption where appropriate to ensure we continually improve the customer shopping experience.
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with both internal and external.

The Successful Applicant

For the successful candidate, the requirements of this role will be:

  • Bachelor degree in marketing or a related field
  • Creative yet analytical marketer with sound Ecommerce experience, preferably within the retail clothing or accessories market
  • Strong understanding of current digital marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
  • Demonstrable experience of managing SEO/SEM, PPC, email marketing and social media campaigns
  • Proven relationship-management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools e.g., Google Analytics
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, A/B testing and MVT programs
  • Experience in setting up and optimising Google AdWords campaigns.
