Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Design, development and maintenance of content (copy/images/videos) for website
  • Developing all digital channels initiatives for new customers (PPC, SEO, Email, B2B & B2C)
  • Analyzing user statistics to identify on-site behaviour, referral sources, marketing opportunities and trends
  • Leading implementation of website improvements
  • Set and report on KPIs e.g. overall turnover, increased website traffic, conversion rates, average basket spend and customer retention
  • Be results driven both in terms of overall acquisition rates, ROI and cost per acquisition
  • Drive SEO/SEM, online advertising, paid keyword advertising campaigns to drive revenue, trial conversions and customer acquisition with the relevant function managers and identify areas of integration and multi-channel initiatives
  • Analyze campaign performance and develop strategies for growth
  • Track customer journey from customer acquisition (traffic), to engagement (lead generation), conversion (orders and revenue) and customer retention.
  • Work directly with merchandising and marketing teams at key ecommerce accounts to understand and execute on the triggers that drive the greatest conversion to purchase online.
  • Manage all activity within agreed budget and timescales
  • Manage website promotions
  • Execution of all paid media efforts across Google, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest
  • Providing benchmark and data analysis to inform decision-making
  • Monitor and comment on ecommerce trends

The Successful Applicant

As this is an interim position that is due to start in April. The applicant must be immediately available or have a maximum four week notice period. In addition to this, they must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Three years (minimum) work experience with ecommerce, building strategies and delivering results
  • Experience within fast moving consumer goods e-retailing
  • Comprehensive experience with social media channels
  • Understanding of key metrics within digital and e-commerce
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Experience at leading meetings
  • Team player skilled in collaboration and helping others
  • Proven project management skills
  • Highly organized
  • Creative, resourceful and driven
  • Hold a graduate degree

What's on Offer

Our client is initially offering a 12 month fixed term contract with the potential to extending the contract.
