Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize sales by presenting the most commercial online store possible with an Omni-channel approach - Desktop web, mobile web, tablet, email and marketing materials, using analysis to measure performance & define strategy
  • Ensure optimum quality and consistency of design for the best customer journey through all media channels
  • Maintaining the brand look and feel through all channels and monitor quality of content team to ensure on brand
  • Planning the Online Marketing Calendar in line with Group Marketing Calendar
  • Ensure all digital platforms are refreshed with clear and consistent activity message & banners according to the Online Marketing calendar.
  • Work with content team to create on brand compelling banners in line with current marketing activity and trends
  • Recommend and implement strategy to drive sales by having a strong understanding of customer behaviour, (i.e. traffic and conversion) using data analytics
  • Provide Data to Buying & Merchandising team to maximise sales on current lines & identify opportunities from customer search patterns, at both category & product level
  • Monitor site banner & category performance. Recommend & implement strategy to improve conversion based on analytics
  • Use Site Merchandising tools to present products in priority order based on sales & analytics, and customise customer journey through presentation of relevant banners & product
  • Monitor market for new innovative products to improve site optimisation

The Successful Applicant

The Candidate:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Online Merchandising
  • Sales driven and results-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Detail oriented, with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to think and work strategically; able to plan ahead and foresee opportunities
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Must be able to make decisions and take own initiative
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong Influencing Skills to impact on all levels of the business
  • Able to work independently and be self-motivated while still working within a team environment and fostering a strong team collaboration
