Job Description

Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* To own all data sources for the online channel including their setup configuration and access.
* Set and document the standards and methodology used for analysing and reporting across numerous data sources
* Be responsible for the quality of all reporting of E-Commerce data within and outside the team
* To own the E-Commerce aspect of the multi-channel insights agenda
* Keeps abreast and up to date with industry techniques and technologies used for analysis and reporting of web activity
* To work closely with and fosters excellent relations with internal teams and external 3rd parties to ensure a joined up approach to data analysis and the reporting of insights.

The Successful Applicant

Skills/Experience required:
* Detailed knowledge and experience of working with web-based data and web analytics tools such as Adobe SiteCatalysts and Google Analytics.
* Degree educated or holder of a recognised vocational qualification in statistical data analysis or similar or have extensive experience in a digital analytics role alongside commercial & marketing analytics.
* The ability to use a variety of data sources such as Business Objects, SQL, Excel
* Experience of working with highly complex data sets across numerous different data sources, not all online.
* Experienced in the use of statistics, statistical methodologies and their application across numerous different data sources both web and business (Financial Services ideally) related
* Expert at turning information into powerful, simple and actionable insights
* Past experience of setting up and configuration of web analytics tools would be desirable but not essential.
* Experience working with container tags, A/B or multi-variant testing would be desirable but not essential.
