Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Economic Analyst with a membership association. You will: * Develop innovative economic research papers, supporting organisation's lobbying activities; * Improve, develop and research new methods of presenting and communicating data and research material for the organisation including the wider group; * Manage the organisation's benchmarking programme; * Manage and provide oversight of organisation 's programme of Sector Interest Groups; * Provide support where economic or analytical insight is required such as presentations, briefings for meetings and corporate plan development; * Manage the organisation's surveys and analytics of data;

The Successful Applicant

You will have: * A 2:1 or above in economics or a joint honours degree with a minimum of 50% economic content with two to three years' experience; * A good knowledge of data analysis techniques and statistics and the ability to develop, implement, and evaluate opinion surveys and related data collection; * Excellent IT skills including the ability to use SPSS/SAS or an equivalent analytical package; * A demonstrable interest in engineering and the built environment; * Strong interpersonal and communication skills (including strong written English) and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders; * Ability to develop and deliver presentations;
