About Our Client

The client are a financial services business specialising in insurance. They are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join the business with the potential for strong progression and development into other areas of digital. All applicants must have an understanding of html and how to build emails. The role will also provide the flexibility to work from home.

Job Description

  • Work with our Digital Marketing Manager & Marketing Executives to understand the over-arching business objectives for our clients and design & develop email marketing campaigns in line with their objectives and content marketing strategy
  • Provide support on digital / website projects as agreed by the Digital Marketing Manager
  • Ensure the marketing message is displayed clearly and delivered on time to all clients & prospects
  • Ensuring all email campaigns are responsive and fully tested for various email clients and devices
  • Develop a personalization strategy, across all emails, from automated to custom campaigns.
  • Design & develop professional HTML email templates for our various brands
  • Track and analyse all email campaigns and write reports on engagement, ROI and interaction
  • Create email marketing campaigns based on statistical analysis and reports and segment data for specific targeted audiences
  • Liaise with the wider marketing team and help create campaigns and marketing ideas to best utilise our client base
  • Supporting the implementation of the Social Media strategy including:
    • Creating images for Twitter and LinkedIn
    • Scheduling posts
    • General monitoring and providing statistics to Communications Team

The Successful Applicant

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience essential
  • Strong copywriting, editing and proof-reading skills with a meticulous eye for detail, language and grammar
  • Ability to create copy for and work with multiple departments, audiences and on integrated platforms
  • Project management skills and desire to see projects through from concept to completion
  • Significant experience gained working within a journalism; marketing; PR; copywriting; content marketing; digital or relevant role is essential
  • Experience writing SEO, social media, digital content is essential
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written) and stakeholder management skills
  • Be a quick thinker, trouble-shooter and have the ability to manage multiple stakeholders' requirements and reach a solution
  • Confident with multi-tasking, working to tight deadlines
  • Fit into the hard-working and entrepreneurial team spirit
  • Be enthusiastic, willing to learn quickly and deliver on your promises every time
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
