Job Description

The EMEA Liquidity Reporting Senior Accountant's key areas of responsibility:

  • Production and review of high quality regulatory external returns (including the LCR, AMM and NSFR), daily liquidity monitoring reports, analytics and MI in a timely fashion, ensuring that the company meets regulatory reporting deadlines and quality
  • Work in a strong operational control environment for data production and reporting with well evidenced reviews, checklists and procedures. To implement the requirements of and adherence to the EMEA Regulatory reporting Target Operating Model (RRTOM)
  • Work with other functional and business areas particularly, the US Liquidity Reporting (LCR) team, the Regulatory Reporting (non - liquidity) team, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Business line management in the production of regulatory returns.
  • To provide, for the EMEA entities, information and data required for internal liquidity processes such as the Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP); including liquidity stress testing .To participate in and address ad hoc regulator led information and thematic reviews
  • Support the manager in working with Market Centre colleagues to address regulatory questions and queries relating to liquidity regulatory reporting.
  • Assist with the provision of analysis and impact assessment for relevant projects from a liquidity risk perspective e.g. new regulatory reporting production requirements, legal entity restructuring, new business start-ups and product launches.

The Successful Applicant

EMEA Liquidity Reporting Senior Accountant will be qualified, either ACA, ACCA or CIMA with experience of working within a fact moving organisation(s) and within a financial control focused environment.

The successful candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, will have exposure to financial services which could be within an investment banking/banking institution or within financial services external audit.

What's on Offer

The salary for the EMEA Liquidity Reporting Senior Accountant is between £40,000 and £50,000 depending on experience + package (excellent pension, discretionary bonus, 25 days holiday, flexible benefits and health care)
