Job Description

Our FMCG Client Based in Aberdeen is looking to recruit an Engineering Administration Coordinator with who will be responsible for the following:-

  • To Ensure Product-Quality engineering requests or audit requests are logged and job close is recorded and reported to the engineering manager
  • To produce a scheduled PM liaising with planning/production and external suppliers to ensure the scheduling is maintained and the system is "audit ready" at all times.
  • To monitor status of statutory engineering maintenance activities and ensure all activities are planned and correctly recorded once complete.
  • To report the status of statutory maintenance requirements to team
  • To provide necessary maintenance records for Quality audits either internal or external.
  • To liaise with the production plan to agree time slots for shut downs or maintenance.
  • To maintain the engineering work request system and schedule any resulting activities through the daily plan.
  • To maintain the engineering job records to ensure maintenance work orders are correctly progressed and closed off.
  • To produce reports detailing compliance of scheduled tasks
  • To support the engineering manager with planning of external resource requirement.
  • Continual maintenance of inventory records to maintain a high degree of stock control within the department.
  • Compilation of reports detailing machine costs, breakdowns, repair and preventative maintenance, including projected costs as derived from the maintenance plan
  • Assessing all plant machinery through inspection to determine future planned maintenance requirements. Transferring all information derived from into a regular maintenance plan linking to the production plan to ensure minimal disruption to the factory
  • Maintain and update all equipment records as necessary
  • Maintain a high level of 'housekeeping' within the department

The Successful Applicant

The Ideal Engineering Administration Coordinator will posses the following:-

  • Background in Preventative maintenance scheduling of all plant and buildings.
  • Background in Compilation of costing reports and upkeep of maintenance records.
  • Responsible for stock holding of spares and re-ordering using an integrated stock management system
  • Engineering Planning
