Enterprise Solution Architect - CRM

The Enterprise Solution Architect - CRM, is responsible for knowing the business's data from supply side systems, CRM systems, internal and external Data Management Platforms and their data stores and have a command on systems and data architecture for digital business internally and externally to the organisation.

  • Creates logical and physical data architecture design in accordance to the need for the digital ecosystem.
  • Provide technical architecture leadership (application, data, middleware, network, hardware / system software) in the selection, design, development, deployment, and production support of new and existing applications
  • Be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications; this role contributes to the overall business strategy and will manage complex issues within various functional areas of expertise
  • Serve as the technical lead and senior architect on proof of concept (POC) and follow-on activities relating to the broader initiative
  • Understand customer and business outcome objectives to design solutions based on specific customer requirements and business strategic objectives
  • Be "hands on" with technology to test, modify, and execute solutions to achieve expected outcomes
  • Represent the business as a lead data architect in meetings with partners and customers
  • Serve as a technical expert on products and applications including code, integration and data flows
  • Coordinate with project teams and business analysts, internally and commercially, to translate detailed specifications into scalable and supportable technology solutions
  • Maintain relationships across IS areas to effectively execute designs and implementations
  • Provide guidance to project teams and third party vendors during the systems development lifecycle (SDLC), including code and test reviews, to ensure quality and conformance to the defined data architecture, standards and practices

The Successful Applicant


  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, technology or related discipline
  • Significant experience in enterprise data or architecture
  • Significant experience in systems integration or middleware technologies
  • Significant experience in solutions architecture design and implementation


  • Experience with new technology introduction and integration in a legacy environment
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to tailor technical content for both technical and non-technical audiences across various levels of leadership
  • Expertise with system integration's and middleware platforms
  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) and/or asset management in service organisations
  • Effective change agent with demonstrated ability to motivate others and achieve results
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work in a matrix organisation structure
  • Strong project leadership skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication
  • Demonstrated curiosity with new technology and its practical application
