Job Description

This role will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Master Schedule and Purchase Planning of all Finished Goods, components and component assemblies for manufacturing and rework processing. Placing POs and WOs
  • Date Maintenance of all POs and WOs
  • Liaison between suppliers, manufacturing, finance and sales
  • Maintaining KPIs
  • Working with finance to ensure supplier invoices are correct and processed in a timely manner
  • Producing reports and statistics using computer software - and analysis with recommendations
  • (Principle Report Writer for the Operations group.)
  • Contributing to Supplier agreement development
  • Maintaining the Operational data within the ERP system
  • Developing the ERP system to meet the requirements of all departments
  • Work with sales and finance to create the production schedule
  • Coordinate subcontractors to meet the requirements of the production schedule in materials and capacity.
  • Provide Inventory analysis reports, Maintaining Inventory Accuracy.
  • Develop the Company's forecasting method, using historical analysis
  • Support the traffic, warehousing and shipping functions

The Successful Applicant

  • ERP systems - able to write reports extracting data from ERP
  • Purchasing
  • Production scheduling
  • Competent with spreadsheets
  • Must have significant manufacturing knowledge and experience.
  • Hands on and prepared to personally input and manipulate data
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Organised
  • Able to work within a team and independently, flexibly and on their own initiative
  • High attention to detail!
  • Able to develop MPS within limited and input, Communicating and explaining the plan.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

Identifies and understands the interactions between engineering processes and manufacturing.

Must be driven and enthused by being part of a company where continuous improvement is vital to a company's continued success and expansion
