Job Description

The role of Estates Surveyor will cover a broad range of duties

Assist in delivery of Estates Management services and solutions, leading to:

  • Alignment of service delivery with client's business and real estate strategies
  • Providing best value solutions, including business cases
  • Management a public sector client's property portfolio
  • Management of specialist sub-consultants
  • Delivery of general practice and real estate services meeting KPIs and SLAs and exceeding customer experience expectation
  • Assist in minimising the cost of the client's portfolio in the areas of delegated responsibility such as:
  • Approving payment of rent, service charges, insurance and other outgoings
  • Negotiating with landlords and agents to secure the most beneficial terms and costs
  • Effective management of vacant and under utilised space
  • Assist in maximising the client's portfolio income in:
  • Income collection
  • Innovation to create income streams Proactive approach to client relationship management and sharing of information:
  • Customer relationship development, customer reporting and ownership of customer satisfaction
  • Account managing to ensure joined-up seamless service

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for the role of Estates Surveyor you are likely to have the following skills and attributes:

  • A qualified property professional with experience ideally gained in working in a large / multi-stakeholder organisation.
  • Currently holding, or working towards, the RICS qualification
  • Broad property asset and estates management skills to enable you to work on a variety of concurrent tasks acting in client's interest
  • The ability to operate at a strategic level, devising and executing plans with a wider appreciation of looking after a varied portfolio.
  • A proven track-record in developing estate management solutions
  • A robust and confident character, with the ability to work independently.

What's on Offer

Basic salary in £30,000 to £40,000 range + company car and fuel card, pension and health-care
