About Our Client

Job Description

  • 1. Contribute to the Fundraising Strategy by coordinating and developing a wide reaching programme of events spanning across the calendar year.
  • 2. Be responsible for organising events which target both current and potential supporters and provide a broad range of ways of engaging with the charity.
  • 3. Be responsible for ensuring all events are thoroughly researched and planned, producing detailed event proposals incorporating budget forecasts and profit projections.
  • 4. Maintain and develop events that are already established and research into setting up new events.

The Successful Applicant

1. Experience of working in the voluntary sector

2. Creative and able to produce good fundraising ideas and eye catching marketing support materials

3. Confidence and experience to address large number of people through talks and presentations

4. Experience of managing projects

5. Knowledge of the patient catchment area and local region

6. Working knowledge of software systems including Raiser's Edge

7. Experience of Health and Safety planning

What's on Offer

Full time permanent position with a salary £23,815-£26,725
