Job Description

The role of an Executive assistant will include;

  • Diary management
  • Scheduling meetings and booking meeting rooms
  • Arranging travel itineraries and coordinating travel arrangements including booking travel tickets and settlement of related expenses
  • Preparing and distributing minutes of meetings
  • Maintenance and ordering of office supplies
  • Screens telephone calls and resolves routine and complex inquiries.
  • You will have corporate interface, across many levels of the organisation, at senior executive level but more often at senior manager level and potentially with external clients.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Executive assistant will have;

  • A solid background of PA/EA experience at senior management level
  • A high level of interpersonal skills to handle issues of a sensitive and confidential nature
  • You must be able to interact and communicate with all levels of the organisation
  • Must have strong experience of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Visio
  • Must be well organised, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and therefore manage priorities, establish and meet deadlines
  • Skilled in typing, shorthand, dictation, and/or minute taking, advance proofreading/editing and word processing
  • The candidate should have good maths skills
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills as well as excellent organisational/interpersonal skills
  • Must be proactive regarding planning, organising, and scheduling work
  • Have the ability to take on additional management responsibility for more junior employees
