Job Description

As the Facilities General Manager you will be required to take responsibility within the absence of the Contract Director. The right candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the financial management of the departments. As well as preparing, monitoring and managing your budget in line with the overall contract objectives, across around 1200 inpatient beds based across 5 sites.

You will report directly to the Contract Director and have significant engagement with the Senior Management team. You will use the KPI reports, to create effective strategies to improve the overall business performance.

Make judgments in all areas of responsibility taking into account legislation, health and safety and finance awareness. As well leadership and overall strategy within remit of department management. The Financial General Manager will be financially liable for the Services department as well.

The Successful Applicant

  • IOSH or Higher qualification in Health and Safety
  • Experience in a complex multi-service environment.
  • Acute Healthcare sector experience.
  • Experience in dealing with multi-million pound budgets and large scale, high value capital projects.
