About Our Client

My client are a growing FM Service Provider recognise people as the heart of their business, and who value quality of service and relationships above all else. They are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join their existing business of 2,500 employees to lead a thirty strong team on a Retail contract in East London.

Job Description

You will have a proven track record in delivering an excellent customer experience to both the client team and the guests to the centre. You will be a hands on manager who demonstrates the ability to motivate and develop your team, delivering first class services to the centre. You will be responsible for the performance of the contract including full KPI delivery and financial control.

The main duties are:

  • Leading a TFM team with 30 staff including all recruitment, appraisal and discipline
  • Delivering excellence in the contracted areas of hard and soft services
  • Managing various contractors and third-party suppliers
  • Tenant liaison and communication
  • Responsible for all reactive and preventative plant maintenance
  • Statutory compliance management
  • Manage the car park operation
  • Responsible for the look and feel of all areas of the centre including all back of house areas
  • Liaise with all external stakeholders as required and under direction of Centre Manager
  • Support the efforts and aims of the client in the effective delivery of managing the service charge and the site marketing plan
  • Financial management and reconciliation of budgets and payroll
  • KPI reporting
  • Support the Centre Manager in all reasonable duties as requested.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this position you must have had previous experience in a similar role managing multiple service lines including M&E, Security and Cleaning. You will need excellent communication and people management skills and have a proven track record in developing staff and a desire to develop your own career

Excellent numeric skills, budget management skills and experience are required, as well as an eye for detail, ability to multi-task and to achieve targets under pressure.
