About Our Client

The company are now entering their next high growth period and are expecting rapid expansion over the course of the next 5 years. They have taken time putting the infrastructure in place to support this and are now seeking to develop their sales team to drive the business development.

Job Description

They are seeking someone with drive and desire who is able to prove their worth through results and take on a managerial role within 18 months. Reporting directly into the owners, this role will be mostly field based with the flexibility to work from home and use the office as a base. The key focus of this role is business development; building and growing your own market whilst servicing current accounts. Given the full portfolio of products to work with - including traditional business supplies, business services, technology supplies, ergonomics consulting and product range and office furniture - you will taking a solutions offering approach and rewards for success will be high.

The Successful Applicant

To succeed in this role you will have ample experience in the office supplies/services market, preferably with existing contacts and certainly with the ability and experience of dealing with the varied types of customers from receptionists to MDs. You will have the following experience and skills:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in office supplies/services sales with a proven track record of results
  • A self-starter with the ability to think for themselves and work independently
  • The ambition and potential to be a leader
  • Confident all round, particularly making decisions
  • Hunger, drive and desire for success

In addition you will be confident in your account management skills, including:

  • Autonomous working, planning and setting objectives
  • Working to achieve and surpass set targets
  • Building rapport and relationships with customers
  • Generating and closing leads and prospects

What's on Offer

£28,000 - £35,000 DOE + uncapped commission and company car.
