About Our Client

The client are looking to bring in an Analyst into their growing FP&A function due to the business impressive growth. This position will play a key role for vital analysis and financial support to one of the biggest divisions within the business. This business offers excellent progression routes due to its fast-growth and its finance function is made up of high calibre senior management and subsequently offers excellent mentoring development and exposure.

Job Description

To be successful in the role it requires an individual with good attention to detail and a strong analytical mind set. The ability to manipulate large data sets in to use-able formats and build simple models to analyse different scenarios will be key to success in this role. The ability to then present this information in a clear concise way will also be important.

The role will require the individual to build strong relationships with the buyers in procurement in order to obtain the correct information required in a timely manner. They will also be required to explain finance principles and concepts to non-finance professionals in order for the procurement team to understand why certain data is required and analysis performed.

Key responsibilities will be but are not limited to;

- Advising on tender activity and tender proposals.

- Modelling the impact of tender proposals through P&L and cash flow and assessing viability.

- Preparation and presenting reports on tenders received.

- Own the modelling of distribution costs and ensure these are tracked

- Forecasting several aspects of the procurement process for the entire group.

- Challenging internal stakeholders and influencing key decision makers.

What's on Offer

Salary is circa £50,000 (+ competitive bonus structure)
