Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the quarterly/annual operational budgeting and forecasting process for EMEA, including business/financial modeling, resource allocation, head count planning, variance analysis, monthly financial analysis and performance reviews
  • Financial structuring of new products/business units related projects (CAPEX, OPEX, Revenue, Headcount, profitability analysis, etc.)
  • Providing direct financial support to the business leaders through the provision of quality management information and commercial advice
  • Supporting, developing and implementing business and operational strategies to drive profitability and efficiencies throughout the business
  • Working with FP&A to run scenarios affecting the business units

Key Performance Indicators

  • Creates quarterly and annual budget with business unit approval
  • Ensures that the Business leaders are taking healthy financial decisions and that the company's overall financial targets are achieved
  • Provides analysis on financial viability of projects and initiatives
  • Delivers a strategy to deploy resources across the organization while satisfying the business needs
  • Ad-Hoc reporting

MAIN CONTACTS (external/internal):

  • Finance Operations Team
  • Business units - daily interaction with the business unit leaders in meetings/ discussions
  • Accounting - monthly basis - share findings on spend versus budget
  • FP&A - running different business scenarios

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors in Business Administration/ Finance/ Economics (required)
  • MBA or similar (desired)
  • Relevant experience required, preferably financial analysis experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, SQL skills an advantage
  • Experience with Oracle and Hyperion an advantage
  • Open and internal customer focused approach
  • Self-starter that takes ownership of issues and drives then toward a conclusion
  • Able to succeed in a fast, high-growth and fairly unstructured work environment
  • Ability to dig into details as well as analyze data from a high level view
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal/networking skills
  • Team player
