Market leading FMCG based in Sussex are looking to hire a Finance Analyst to join their growing team.
Ensuring the accuracy of reported trading gross profit.
Deliver weekly commentary on trading gross profit deviations from budget / forecast highlighting any required actions to correct underlying issues.
Complete the financial input to business cases for PMO.
Complete evaluation of PMO completed projects versus original business case for board review.
No direct reports.
The job requires an understanding of the elements which drive trading gross profit and how these elements can be monitored to identify under performance or incorrect base data. It also requires a knowledge of project evaluation and business case creation. With Board level reporting the individual must be confident and able to communicate effectively throughout the business.
The Successful Applicant
Knowledge / Skills / Experience / Competencies
The Finance Analyst should be Graduate level, qualified accountant preferably CIMA, or accountant qualified by demonstrable experience, with excellent systems/PC skills (MS Excel to a very high level, MS Access, MS Powerpoint.) Knowledge of VBA, Oracle Discoverer /OLAP, and TM1 would be helpful. Very good communication and presentation skills and sound commercial acumen are essential.
They must be able to work as part of a team and operate on their own initiative demonstrating a desire to seek and implement continuous improvement.
