Job Description

To be an integral part of the Business Intelligence Management team that plans, analyse and report the financial and operational aspects of the company. This role is key in facilitating the drive forward of the finance function in order to add further value to the business in assisting in both the strategic and operational management through the reporting, planning and analytical capabilities. The job is the link between Finance and the Business. It requires individuals who can multi task and have personal impact, and who can gain and maintain credibility across the Business. Individuals need to be very strong communicators and influencers, able to draw out key risks and opportunities from complex business information.

Working closely with a variety of senior stakeholders with whom you'll develop strong working relationships, you'll provide innovative analytical support and commercial insight in order to manage the end to end delivery of a range of structured initiatives and projects such as strategy scenarios, performance monitoring and investment appraisals.

The Successful Applicant

Building on your post qualifying role(s), you will have a grounded expertise within a commercial challenging finance environment, you will be commercially astute, have proactive approach to engagement and influencing the business identifying 'value added' financial insight and support.

You'll apply your financial knowledge and expertise to challenge and influence decision making, and adopt an innovative and introspective approach when reviewing the drivers behind the business performance.

Furthermore, you will bring strong stakeholder management skills to influence strategic decisions and provide advice to senior level management. You'll have confidence working with financial data, interpreting and developing an understanding of the financials and work closely with the Business Partners communicating opportunities for strategic change and improvements to technical and non-technical colleagues.
