Job Description

  • Lead, coach & develop direct reports into a world class Operations Team
  • Working closely with Site Management to enhance the overall provision of finance data to enable timely and appropriate actions / decisions to be implemented
  • Review and analyse weekly accounts & performance - comparison to prior periods, budget and forecast, specifically identify key trends/issues for corrective action.
  • Discuss / investigate & provide insight into site operational variances e.g. direct labour & waste with Site Management.
  • Work closely with the Central Finance Team - to eliminate difference between weekly & monthly accounts.
  • Drive Site MIT (Materials Initiative Team), Productivity & Capex Efficiency agenda and identify corrective actions as required supported by financial models
  • Complete Site budget and forecasts - build, review & present in partnership with key Site Management to include detailed Productivity Agenda review
  • Take the lead for Site Capital budgeting & forecasting. Play a pivotal role in capital request writing, reviewing & controlling of spend inline with budget & forecasts.
  • Take the lead for Site Overhead budgeting & forecasting. Improve the provision of financial awareness & information provided to aid minimising costs.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will ideally have

- FMCG experience

- Experience with leading and coaching direct reports

- Provide examples of developing and implementing initiatives which significantly improved Site performance.

- Strong academic background

- Qualified CIMA or ACCA

- At least 2 years Post Qualified Experience

- Be robust and resilient to business changes with strong intellect

- Be systems literate with Excel
