About Our Client

Our client is a London based Technology company looking for a new Finance Business Partner.

Job Description

This fantastic opportunity as a Finance Business Partner for a well known technology company will have the following responsibilities:

Budget and control

Provides support and guidance for the preparation of business plans and budgets for customers in the assigned area, setting KPIs, targets and financial analyses; reviews progress against plans and advises on appropriate remedial actions

Develops processes for consolidation and standardisation of reporting to corporate headquarters

Account management

Establishes and maintains contact with current and new subsidiaries (and their major accounts, if necessary) in the assigned area, to ensure continuity in the relationship and achieve the annual sales targets

Manages the coordination, collection and analysis of KPI's related to the balanced score card, for SMOs, target setting and bonus recommendations.

Reviews key commercial and administrative issues arising from current programmes, recommends improvements/solutions where necessary; implements agreed changes to improve administrative efficiency and more effectively align programmes with Group strategic aims.

Sets standards for best practices, and benchmarks amongst the operating companies. Implements and follows-up on action plans in order to achieve targets as set in the business plans and budgets, and compliance with TQM, OFI, ISMS, and Legal compliance

Sales reporting and forecasting

Directs the compilation of timely and accurate sales information on the region and reports activities to the Executive Director of Operations and Support, thus providing insight in the progress, achievements and problems in the appointed regions

Ensures timely and accurate forecasting for significant tenders impacting upon purchases. Aiding the coordination of cross-functional competence in complex tenders requiring commercial, marketing, technical and solution integration.

Reporting

Consolidates, standardises and reports on performance of assigned subsidiaries and realisation of business plans in order to advise RFG management on issues and appropriate actions

The Successful Applicant

For this technology company based in London a successful Finance Business Partner will hold the following:

Qualified Accountant

In-depth and broad knowledge of industry, with financial and commercial analysis experience

Good communication skills for clear and credible reporting to senior management (both face to face and in writing) and representing Group to local operating company top management.

Considerable experience in budgeting, and analysis of growth and profitability.

Experience of planning and managing projects - both directly and using influencing skills to achieve results in areas without direct control.

International experience, and ability to work across culturally diverse groups

Experience in developing and implementing process standards and business results

Strong interpersonal and people management skills
