My client is a growing and leading Facilities Management business that is looking to recruit a bright, ambitious Finance Business Partner to join their Commercial Team in London.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Account Directors and Financial Controller by leading the Commercial and Finance work stream and ensuring key milestones are achieved, including leading in , co-ordinating the finance and commercial activity across delivery teams, heading-up the reporting process, contract variation control, contract commercials, creating processes and controls that support the payment, reporting and performance mechanisms, liaising with other service lines to work together to drive performance on the contracts
  • Overall day to day commercial responsibility including, contract variation, client reporting, contract margin improvement.
  • Overall responsibility for financial control of contract, including reporting and MI, treasury & cash management, credit control, payroll, accounts payable, capital expenditure, statutory reporting.
  • Establishment, maintenance and management of a robust financial control environment
  • Act as key member of finance & commercial team, ensuring integration of finance operation with commercial and operational teams and provide strong links with service partner finance.
  • Compliance with internal and external stakeholder reporting, including customers, Division and Group
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting process.

The Successful Applicant

Candidate Profile:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in working with Executive/senior management level
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Sound knowledge and proven professional experience in: - controlling the use of financial resources; - budgetary accounting and financial reporting; - managing a multi-disciplined team;
  • In-depth knowledge, preferably followed by experience, of EU Financial, Public Procurement and Budgetary Rules and Regulations
  • Good knowledge of management principles, in particular as regards strategic planning, prioritisation, project management and allocation of resources
  • Proven capacity to analyse complex information, consider options in clear and structured way, propose and implement recommendations and make sound decisions.
  • Strong people management experience including coaching, motivation, carrying out appraisals and objective setting
  • Competent with standard MS office applications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
