About Our Client

Our client is an African conglomerate. As part of its growth strategy in West Africa, we are looking for his-her Finance Director in Nigeria.

Job Description

Working closely with the CEO, you will have responsibility for the following:
 
Responsible for all financial planning and forecasting activities.
Responsible for budgeting and monitoring including control of expenses.
Drive financial and business analysis in order to create the required insights, upgrade existing Financial Planning and Analysis capabilities.
Define and measure key performance indicators and ensure company consistency of metrics and analyses.
Lead the development and implementation of key financial policies and procedures.
Ensure timely and proper accounting in statutory and management accounts.
Ensure compliance with statutory, legal and tax requirements as well as internal financial policies.
Ensure internal control systems that provide effective and efficient operations.
Ensure timely and proper cash flow and liquidity management.
Develop and present the cash budgets and cash flow projections.
Management of the finance and accounting team.
 

The Successful Applicant

  • You hold a University degree in finance/ accounting, CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • Experience in growing finance/ accounting roles, critically in heavy construction with exposure to large EPC, turnkey or fixed price based contracts.
  • Proven working knowledge of IFRS and GAAP standards is a must.
  • You have gained a relevant experience within emerging markets.
  • You are fluent in English.
