About Our Client
My client is a highly regarded transport and logistics business based in South Yorkshire and after a fantastic 12 months of growth they are looking to further expand the finance team. The business is going from strength to strength with significant growth plans for 2017.
This role will be a combination of financial and management accounting and will include but not be limited to:
Assisting in annual budgets and quarterly forecasting preparation
Overseeing the payroll function
Preparing monthly management accounts including balance sheet, P&L and cash flows.
Tax returns including VAT and PAYE.
Working with other departments as well as the management team to help make finance decisions.
Helping to prepare year end statutory accounts.
Other Adhoc duties
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate:
Will be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified.
Will have a good combination of both financial and management accounting skills.
Will have strong people management skills and an ability to help develop others.
Very proactive, a passion to challenge and change.
What's on Offer
£35,000 - £45000 dependent on experience
