About Our Client

Leading Financial Services business based in Leeds City Centre.

Job Description

  • Overall responsibility of revenue accounting following US accounting regulations
  • Responsibility for accounting of several functions within IT, including capital expenditure on approved business projects.
  • Management of the accounting for revenue generating projects
  • Management of a team of accountants
  • Preparation and presentation of month-end reports, commentaries and variance analysis to senior management
  • Management of the sales contract review process and input into customer opportunities
  • Support the FP&A team in forecasting and budgeting
  • Involvement with, and occasional leadership of, multi-functional projects and business initiatives beyond the revenue department
  • Involvement in the production of customer invoices and management of authorization work flows
  • Other accounting duties commensurate with the role as defined by the Financial Controller

The Successful Applicant

- Oracle experience is desirable
- Knowledge of US GAAP is an advantage
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or ACA)
