Established in 2013 and now in its 3rd year of successful trading, Generate is a rapidly growing business helping individuals and clients with payroll and finance solutions across the UK and Europe.

With client list of over 2500 contractors and a team of 15, Generate is looking for an enthusiastic Finance Manager to join the ever growing team and take ownership of the finance function.

Generate are seeking an enthusiastic and eager Finance Manager to join their team at their Head Office in London. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role covers all aspects of the finance. The finance department and its duties are key to the company's success. This position will involve everything from overseeing Ltd Company set, Year-end reports and the Generate accounts - it is an incredibly varied role and offers exposure to all areas of accounts.

You will be required to possess good drafting skills and to be numerate in handling all aspects of the organisation's finance. The successful candidate will have experience of setting up and maintaining effective and efficient financial procedures and experience of financial administration and bookkeeping, including payroll and display proficiency in financial software products. This is a great opportunity to implement new controls, streamline processes and add value to the company at a pivotal point.

Over the past year Generate have launched new products and are seeing excellent results from their expansion which will cause this role to grow rapidly in responsibility and offer the chance to get involved with exciting ad-hoc project work.

 

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have;

- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification (0-3 years PQE)

- Excellent commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to people at all levels internally and externally.

- Ability to plan, balance and cope with competing priorities.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Good standard of IT including experience of using MS Office.

- Strong team working orientation with a flexible and adaptable approach to work demands across the whole organisation.

- Ideally some experience working for in-house or agency side.

- Experience in contract worker payroll (Ltd company, Umbrella)

- Self-starter, practical, able to work under pressure.

What's on Offer

Salary is between £40,000 and £50,000 (+ benefits)
