About Our Client
Our client are a large SME in the manufacturing sector who are growing rapidly. They are leaders in their field and have a large Finance team spread across York.
Control all reporting to the group for budgets, forecasts, monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts.
Working in a divisional overview role, review reporting from all Business units, liaising with the Business Unit Financial Controllers and Finance Managers to identify commercial, accounting and reporting issues.
Communicate significant issues arising to the Central Financial Controller, and work in conjunction with the Central Finance Controller to ensure effective communication with Senior Management.
Responsible for the continuous development of the financial / management reporting.
Manage the annual budget consolidation and reporting process.
Manage the statutory accounts and audit process and provide assistance to other divisions in their statutory accounts process.
Support Financial Controller on ad hoc projects, reports and investigations.
The Successful Applicant
Our client are looking for a practice trained Accountant who ideally is looking for their first move into industry.
You will have strong technical accounting knowledge either gained from an audit or an accounts preparation background and be heavily detail orientated.
