Job Description

As Finance Manager, responsibilities will include:

  • Management of the Finance team (Qualified and Part Qualified);
  • Create the strategic direction of the department;
  • Ensure all liabilities are processed correctly and paid on time;
  • Ensure all company assets are properly recorded, safeguarded and reported;
  • Manage Treasury and related Cash flow issues;
  • Manage all regular Tax issues in a timely and compliant manner;
  • Produce Monthly Accounts to strict timetable, and report accordingly;
  • Schedule appropriate information and detail to support accurate Budgets and Forecasts;
  • Manage Year-end audit and Statutory accounts;
  • Any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of the post;

The Successful Applicant

Qualification/Skills required as Finance Manager:

  • Management of a finance team;
  • Project planning/management, Problem solving and decision making;
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified;
  • Research & Development or Engineering experience;
  • Responsibility for producing Monthly Accounts and reporting to strict timetable;
  • Ability to produce accurate Budgets / Forecasts and reporting on time;
  • Awareness of Tax matters and issues;
  • Adept with working in Microsoft Office;
  • Personal traits - good communicator, reliable and conscientious;
