About Our Client
Our client is in the process of implementing a new four year strategy.
Our client receives a considerable portion of it's funding from a closely related central government department.
Monthly management accounts circulated to the Board. This information is to be presented to the quality standard that a management Board would expect.
Quarterly management accounts circulated to the Board. This information is to be presented to the quality standard that a management Board would expect.
Statutory accounts. Major role in the preparation of the year end statutory accounts. Completion of tasks allocated under the year-end audit plan in accordance with the plan timetable. Support as required to team members on collaborative tasks.
Fixed Asset Accounting. Maintenance of The Group's fixed asset registers including an annual verification and annual revaluation (carried out by external experts) of land and property assets for statutory reporting with the accounting treatment in accordance with accounting standards.
Budget Setting. Preparation of the annual budget for Board approval. For subsidiary companies the preparing of the annual budget for approval by the respective Boards
VAT Returns. Preparation and submission of the Group's quarterly VAT Return.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate:
ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified
Previous government experience essential
